How marketers are using Ask AI

Not sure where to start? Here are some of the most common ways Tracksuit customers are using Ask AI today.

Simply copy a prompt below, replace anything in [brackets] with your own brand, category, metric, competitor, retailer, or time period, and paste it into the chat.

Don't worry about getting it perfect. These prompts are designed to help you get started, and you can always ask follow-up questions to explore the answer further. The more context you provide, the more tailored the response will be.

Diagnose & Plan

"Where does my brand stand and what should I do about it?"

Use these prompts to understand performance, identify opportunities, and build your next plan.

Leaky funnel diagnostic

Where is the biggest drop-off in [brand]'s funnel from Awareness to Consideration to Preference? Tell me which stage is leaking most and what we should focus on.

Brand health snapshot

Summarise where [brand] stands on Awareness, Consideration and Preference versus the top competitors in my category.

Audience opportunity finder

Which audiences are aware of [brand] but not yet considering us? Show me where the biggest awareness-to-consideration gaps exist and whether these represent growth opportunities.

Brand perception analysis

What are the key themes in [brand]'s perception data? Compare them to competitors. Where are we different, where do we overlap, and what associations are competitors owning that we should care about?

What's changed since last wave?

What's moved in [brand]'s funnel since the last wave? Only flag changes that are statistically significant.

Biggest growth opportunity

Where is the biggest gap in [brand]'s funnel? Which metric should we prioritise to drive growth?

Growth planning

Based on our funnel performance, audience profile, and competitor benchmarking, what are the three biggest opportunities for [brand] over the next 12 months?

Convince Stakeholders

"How do I use data to make a point?"

Use these prompts to turn data into clear stories for leadership teams, agencies, retailers, and internal stakeholders.

Summarise [brand]'s brand health in three bullet points for a leadership update. Cover what's changed, what it means, and what we should do next.

Board-ready report

Write a short board-ready report on [brand]'s brand health over the last six months. Cover what's moved, whether changes are statistically significant, how we compare to competitors, and the one or two things the board needs to know.

CFO update

Write a short email to our CFO about [brand]'s performance this quarter. Connect the metrics to long-term commercial growth, not just marketing.

Agency brief

"How do I defend my budget and make the case for more?"

Use these prompts to build confidence in brand investment and connect brand metrics to business outcomes.

Write a short business case for investing in long-term brand building for [brand]. Use the funnel data to show where awareness is converting, quantify the gap versus competitors, and explain why sustained investment compounds over time.

Case for more budget

I need to argue for more brand investment. Use [brand]'s data to show where we're under-indexed versus competitors and why investing now could help close those gaps.

What's improved this period?

What has improved in [brand]'s brand health over the last two waves? Only reference changes that are statistically significant.

Gap versus category leader

Compare [brand] to the category leader across Awareness, Consideration and Preference. Highlight where we're matching, where we're behind, and where investment should be focused first.

Evidence of competitive advantage

Where is [brand] genuinely ahead of competitors right now? Give me the clearest evidence from the data.

Investment recommendation

Based on our current brand performance, where would you prioritise investment over the next 12 months and why?

A few things to keep in mind

Ask AI is designed to help you understand what your data shows and where changes are occurring.

It can help identify patterns, opportunities, audience segments, and competitor movements. However, it can't yet definitively explain why a metric changed, as factors like campaign activity, media spend, competitor actions, and market conditions sit outside the Tracksuit platform.

A few other things to know:

  • One dashboard at a time. A chat is tied to the dashboard you're in. Switch dashboards to ask about another category or market.

  • Chats are private to you. Colleagues on the same account won't see your conversations.

  • Sample size restrictions. If sample size is too small to show results in the dashboard, Ask AI won't return a result for it either. It will explain the limitation instead.

  • As with any AI, it can occasionally get something wrong. Review outputs before sharing with stakeholders.
